![]() #1 Leaves of many beautiful colors falling to the ground, Clearing the view to show the Gates of Heaven. Leaves are clearing the view to feel the warmth of the Light from God, to keep your Soul warm as fall Leaves and winter comes. Leaves are blowing across from where you are standing; to clear the floor of the ground, getting ready to cover you knee high of Snow. You are not going to feel the cold from the snow, nor people; "you are going to feel the heat of the Light from your Soul, Because the Lord uncovered the trees leaves so you can Stay warm from the Winters cold." 10/3/2013 SUPPORT GOOD NEIGHBOR ORDINANCE MONDAY Nov 18, 2013, 6:30PM@ 301 E. HURON IN ANN ARBORRead Now![]() HELP US PROTECT THE RIGHT TO GIVE AND RECEIVE HUMANITARIAN AID IN ANN ARBOR You're Invited! MONDAY NOV 18, 2013 @ 6:45PM= CITY HALL, ANN ARBOR For more info, contact us @ CTN Good Neighbor Subcommittee Caleb @ [email protected] or Greg @ [email protected] About two weeks ago, Ann Arbor's Parks & Recreation Committee voted unanimously to approve this ordinance and send it to City Council. See: http://annarborchronicle.com/2013/09/17/broader-fee-waiver-recommended-for-parks/. This ordinance, which was proposed and pushed forward by the Camp Take Notice Subcommittee For the Right to Receive Humanitarian Aid (largely comprised of the homeless community themselves), now comes up for hearing in City Council on Monday evening, November 18, **6:45 p.m.** Your presence at city hall in support of the ordinance is very important! This will be the first reading of the proposed amendment. It will have to go through a second reading during an A2 City Council meeting at a later date in order for this to come to a final vote. All across the nation, cities are passing laws that restrict the passing out of food and other basic necessities in public spaces, simultaneously harming poor people and impeding the rights of others to assist in Philadelphia and New York among others. For example: http://hot-dogma.com/2013/08/19/criminalizing-charity-in-philly-and-elsewhere/ http://dailycaller.com/2013/07/19/bloomberg-strikes-again-nyc-bans-food-donations-to-the-homeless/ http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/it-is-illegal-to-feed-the-homeless-in-cities-all-over-the-united-states Ann Arbor's proposed ordinance protects, by means of a fee waiver, the rights of others to act in a compassionate and humane manner, while simultaneously protecting the rights of homeless and other destitute people to receive basic aid. On November 18, City Council will meet at the following location: City Hall 301 East Huron, Ann Arbor, MI 48107 On E Huron between Fifth and Division Come join us! Seats in the front rows are more desirable, as well as seats behind the audience-speaker's podium. This makes it easiest for council to see our supporters. One of our first speakers will ask all supporters of the ordinance amendment to stand in unison [this will be a lot of fun!]. Because these locations fill up quickly we are asking folks to show up at **6:45pm** to claim the most visible seats.
