You may sign up for one pantry appointment per month and expect to leave with 6+ bags of food, including produce, dairy and meat.

​If you need food, and still have time before your next appointment, you are welcome to come to walk-up groceries at the Farm Stand  located at 454 Harriet St. to pick up staple food items.

If you are unable to pick up groceries due to mobility, transportation, or heath concerns,

Hope Clinic offers grocery delivery!

You can choose to get your delivery either Wednesday or Friday
it will come between 1-4pm.

washtenaw co. health dept- prescription for health

​Prescription for Health program connects patients to their local farmers markets though their medical clinics.
Health care providers refer their patients to the Prescription for Health program by writing “prescriptions”, in the form of a referral, for their patients to eat more fruits and vegetables.
Upon enrollment in the program, the participant gets tokens in their enrollment packet and is able to spend those on fruits and vegetables at their local farmers market.

​Be 60 years of age or older. Or be 55 years of age or older AND a member of a federally-recognized tribe/an urban Native American group.
Live in Washtenaw County.
Have a total monthly household income of 185% of the poverty line or less ($2,248 for 1 person; $3,041 for 2 person household).

The program starts in the summer and runs to October 31 each year.

Enrollment has ended for the 2023 season. Please check back in June 2024.

​Great news! WIC has expanded the income guidelines and you may now qualify for WIC even if you haven't before. Contact us to see if you qualify!

WIC is a supplemental nutrition program for pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and kids up to five years old who are income eligible. Over half of all babies born in Washtenaw County participate in WIC!
