Humanitarian Aid Supporters
Ordinance on the Right to Receive Humanitarian Aid
Ever since Vineyard Church was prevented from passing out pizza in Liberty Park due to a city levied fee, CTN and MISSION have been seeking support for waiving this fee for all organizations who are providing humanitarian aid. After meeting with a number of council members, the subcommittee formed to try and pass the Right to Receive Humanitarian Aid Ordinance has found someone to sponsor the legislation. Ann Arbor City Council Member Margie Teall has agreed to sponsor this piece of legislation. Thanks to all the hard work put into this by Caleb, Seth, and Steve and others. To thank Margie Teall for her support, this photo was taken.
